De Roey Moves Into One Shot Lead On Day Two in Valencia

Belgium’s Manon de Roey took the overall lead at the Santander Golf Tour LET Access Series Valencia after a second round of 71, one-under-par, on the Club de Golf Escorpion course. On a day where scoring tough in the winds of southern Spain, the Belgian played sensible golf which was enough to claim the outright lead heading into the final round tomorrow.

England’s Charlotte Leathem leads the way after the opening round of the Santander Golf Tour LETAS Valencia. The 24-year-old didn’t drop a shot on the Spanish course with five birdies in a five-under-par round of 67 at the Club de Golf Escorpion.

Nine of the top ten players on the 2019 LETAS rankings will be competing in the Santander Golf Tour LETAS Valencia at Club de Golf Escorpion, near Valencia this week. Leading the way will be Laura Ruiz Gomez, who moved to the top spot of the LETAS rankings with another strong performance in the Ribeira Sacra Patrimonio de la Humanidad International Ladies Open. The 23-year-old from Marbella finished in a tie for 9th place and claimed her first LETAS win at the Montauban Ladies Open last month.

Goodall Holds On For Second LET Access Series Victory at Augas Santas

England’s Rachel Goodall maintained her lead at the Ribiera Sacra Partimonio de la Humanidad International Ladies Open to claim a two-shot victory over Italy’s Lucrezia Colombotto Rozzo. The duo, playing together in the final pairing, both posted –2 rounds of 68 allowing Goodall to hold on for a two-shot win on –11 for the tournament.
