Caroline Martens

Tell me something we don’t know about you. I am psychiatric therapist.

What job would you do if not a professional golfer? To continue with psychiatry or psychology, not in golf .

What super-human power would you choose to have? Fly.

What languages do you speak? Norwegian, Swedish, English, German and learning Spanish.

Who would comprise your ideal four-ball? Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Nelson Mandela and me.

What is your favourite non-golfing activity? Watch movies and get massages.

What is your favourite TV programme? I love the criminal series like CSI and Bones.

Can you play a musical instrument? Flute and piano, not too badly.

What invention do you wish you had thought of? Facebook.

What is the best part of your game? My long game: driver and long irons from the tee

What is the weakest? Putting, but I am getting a lot better.

Why do you want to join the LET? Because my biggest dream is to be a professional golfer and I love Europe and I want to continue in living in Europe and I love golf. So I want to make that my living.

How did you prepare for attending the LET Q-School 2012? I have been injured all the last year, so as soon as my injury was over I started practicing physically and doing a lot of strength exercises and conditioning and a lot of golf. I have been working very hard with my coach to get my swing right, but also mentally, I have been preparing in visualizing the courses and golf shots for months.

What are your expectations in 2012 and targets when playing on the LET? I am playing well, so I am expecting this season to be my best season yet so far as a professional golfer. I would like to win an event, and I think I am good enough to win one. I would like to finish top 20-30 on the Order of Merit.
