Swedish amateurs Linn Andersson and Martina Edberg were at the top of the leaderboard in the Kristianstad Ahus Ladies PGA Open after tough, windy conditions made scoring difficult during the second round. Edberg was the only player who produced a sub par round, shooting an impressive 68, 4 under par to trail by one shot. Linn Andersson managed a round of two over par, 74 to add to her first round of 69, three under, to lead the event going into the final round.
American Megan Grehan, a first year LET rookie shot one over par, 73 to join England's Eleanor Givens on a total of 145 (+1) to be tied for 3rd place.
Spain's Patricia Sanz Barrio, who currently lies in second position on the LETAS Order of Merit, struggled in the conditions, scoring a second round 78 (+6) to occupy 5th place on her own.
The cut fell at 154 (+10) with 35 professionals and seven amateurs making it through to the final day's play. Play will commence at 8.00am on Saturday morning.
