Spain’s Carmen Alonso and Sandra Carlborg from Sweden, conducted a golf clinic for juniors at the OCA Augas Santas International Ladies Open on Friday afternoon. Alonso and Carlborg, who are two of the longest hitters in women’s golf, showed the juniors how to hit a variety of shots, finishing off with a few booming drives.

The juniors were then given the opportunity to hit some balls and receive valuable tips from the two LET professionals. They also received some advice as to the specifications of their clubs, the professional's training schedules, nutrition and exercise.

Carlborg is a former world long driving champion with a career best of 356 metres. You can find out more about the Swede on her website at www.sandracarlborg.com

Alonso shot rounds of 71, 69 to be tied for 6th place going into the final round of the OCA Augas Santas International Ladies Open.
