Sweden’s Josephine Janson shot the low round of the day, 68, four under par, to take a one shot lead after the second round of the PGA Halmstad Ladies Open by Haverdal.
The Swede recorded four birdies in her last six holes to hit the front and sit one shot ahead of overnight leaders, Germany’s Isi Gabsa and Swedish amateur Beatrice Wallin, who both recorded matching 71’s on the second day.
Sweden’s Jessica Ljungberg shot a second round 70 to lie in 4th place at 2 under par, with Louise Friberg (70) a further shot back in 5th, at one under.
Fellow Swede Isabella Ramsay rounds out the top six places, shooting a second consecutive 72, to finish at even par.
Forty-two professionals and six amateurs made the cut, which fell at nine over par, 153. The final round will commence at 7.30am tomorrow morning.
