Tvede bogeyed the final hole at the La Manga Club Resort in regulation play, for a round of 78, setting up a sudden death play-off. Hassan shot a closing round of 76 in tough windy conditions, which blew across the 6245 yard, par 73 course.

After playing the par five 18th three times the two players were unable to continue due to darkness and will resume the play off at 9am on Sunday morning.

Both Tvede and Hassan are bidding for a place at the LET final qualifying school along with the title of Murcia Ladies Open champion.
