Highlights

In 2017 Melanie comepted in 11 events with her best finish at the VP Bank Ladies Open in 14th position.

2016 saw Melanie compete in two LETAS events.

In 2015 Melanie secured her LET category 9b status. Melanie finished seventh at the Lalla Meryem Cup in 2015 earning a cheque for €12,600 euros. Melanie has competed on the LET Access Series since 2012. In 2014 Melanie finished in 8th place on the LET Access Series having had 11 top 25 finished during the season.

Personal:

Melanie started playing golf at the age of 13 when her parents introduced her to the game. When Melanie is not on the practise ground or golf course you will find her watching sports especially tennis. Melanie is a tented skier. Melanie graduated in 2012 with a business administration sports degree. Melanie helps organise the ASGI Ladies Open held at Golf gams on the LET Access Series.

Davis Claims Day One Lead In Bossey, As Maetzler Hits Hole-In-One

England’s Hayley Davis leads the way at the Bossey Ladies Championship after a brilliant six-under-par round of 65 on the opening day in France. The 26-year-old has been in fine form on the LET Access Series this year with six top-10 finishes that sees her lying third in the Road to La Largue standings and looks set to challenge once again after a blistering start at the Association du Golf & Country Club de Bossey.
Players To Watch Leading Into VP Bank Ladies Open

The opening Pro-Am of the VP Bank Ladies Open 2019 was played on Thursday in spring-like conditions. The players will compete for the €45,000 prize fund starting today at the second LETAS event of the year, with cooler temperatures and more humid conditions. The 102 professionals and 22 amateurs, will be aiming to finish in the top 48 and qualify for the 9-hole match plays on the final day. Also, accuracy is needed on the par-3 third hole, the title sponsor VP Bank will reward every hole-in-one on this hole with 50 grams of gold.
VP Bank Ladies Open Presents New Format

The six edition of the VP Bank Ladies Open will take place at GC Gams-Werdenberg from the 3 – 5 May, with some exciting changes and additions to the event. The prize money has been increased to 45,000 euros and the tournament will be played with a new format for the first time, the "Mätzler-Mix", named after the event promoter, Guido Maetzler. The title sponsor, VP Bank, will also reward every hole-in-one with a 50-gram gold bar.

At this year’s VP Bank Ladies Open played at GC Gams-Werdenberg in early May, a new tournament formula will make its premiere. The first two days will be stroke play and after 36 holes, the top 48 players will qualify for a match play format on the final day.

Celebrating a Five Year Anniversary on Pro-Am Day

Gams, 3 May 2018 - Under perfect conditions, the Pro-Am for the 2018 edition of the VP Bank Ladies Open 2018 took place on Wednesday at the GC Gams-Werdenberg course. 27 professionals and 81 sponsors and guests were at the start and enjoyed the game in the championship-worthy venue. It all starts on Friday morning, 4 May, from 8.15 with the first round of the LETAS event. 132 players from 29 nations will compete for the 40,000 euro prize money, including 18 Swiss women, eight Austrians and three Germans.

One hundred and twenty six players from 28 different countries will compete for the second title of the season at the ASGI Swiss Ladies Open, held at Golf Club Gams Werdenberg in Gams, Switzerland, from the 28th to 30th April, with prize money of €30,000. The main sponsor of the tournament is the Association de Suisse de Golfeurs Indépendant (ASGI).
