Carmen achieved one of  her career goals in 2018 by a win at the AXA Czech Ladies Challenge. Carmen played in a further five LETAS tournaments in 2018 which she made every cut in. 

Carmen played in seven tournaments in 2017 with her best finish at the Santander Golf Tour LETAS El Saler where she placed T13. Carmen played in four tournaments in the 2016 season and four tournaments in the 2015 season with her best finish for T10 at the Riberia Sacra Patrimonio de la Humanidad International Ladies Open. 

Carmen placed 18th in the 2014 LETAS Order of Merit. Carmen’s lowest round of the season came at the Kristianstad Ahus Ladies Open, with a final round 70, two under par. Carmen’s shot of the year was a hole in one during the first round of the Grecotel Amirandes Ladies Open on the tricky 154yard 6th hole at Crete Golf Club. Carmen finished the year claiming her LET card at the 2015 Lalla Aicha Tour School Final Qualifying finishing in a tie for 15th.

Spain´s Carmen Alonso recorded her first international professional win at the AXA Czech Ladies Challenge at Golf Resort Konopiste in Bystrice. The 33-year-old finished on 205, 11 under par, with a final day 69, providing a three shot win over Czech amateur Theresa Melecka and Inci Mehmet of England.
