Gemma played in four LETAS tournaments in her first season as a member and finished 65th in the LETAS Order of Merit. Gemma had three top twenty finishes out of four tournaments. Gemma’s best finish of the season was at the Solvesborg Ladies Open hosted by Fanny Sunesson where she place in a tie for 11th with rounds of 73, 71 and 71.
Gemma had a highly successful amateur career. Gemma represented Tulane University where she was studying. While representing Tulane Gemma claimed two team conference titles and one individual title. Gemma was the runner up at the 2013 British amateur Strokeplay championship and represented Scotland at international level. Gemma also represented Great Britian and Ireland at the 2014 Curtis Cup before turning professional in 2015.
Gemma has a degree from the Tulane University, where she majored in Marketing from the Freeman school of business. When Gemma is not on the golf course she enjoys playing football and tennis and enjoys supporting Aberdeen Football Club, and the red devils, Manchester United.
